SERVING TRAIN CREWS OF THE CSX NASHVILLE DIVISION

  All Local Chairmen,

Please see the attached decision in regards to the controlling agreement

per the Carrier's coordination notice dated July 1, 2010.

Despite our best efforts the Arbitrator has selected the Consolidated

Southern Region Agreement as the agreement most beneficial to the

employees affected by CSXT's coordination notice and will be effective

October 25,2010.

The CSRA will basically go in as written with the exception that Crew

Consist will apparently continue to be applied as currently in effect.

It is now incumbent upon us to educate ourselves and the members on all

the provisions of the CSRA in order to best serve the membership.

I appreciate both your and the membership's patience during this process

and would like to thank both Vice President Previsich and Assistant

Chairman Weathers for their efforts on our behalf. Brother Weathers

spent untold hours preparing an excellent submission for our position in

the arbitration proceedings.

We will soon be meeting with the Carrier in order to complete the

coordination process as directed by the Arbitrator and will keep you

advised of our progress in that respect.
